Education Institute

Our place, Education Institute, is located at number 66 in Lake Town. We are very close to the Mother Dairy which is how most people find us. You can smell the fresh milk early in the morning when we are just opening up. Lake Town is a nice part of Kolkata and the 700055 area is quite lively. We have a simple setup here with a few rooms for teaching. The furniture is mostly wooden and has been around for a long time. It’s a bit worn but it’s sturdy. We don't have air conditioning so we rely on the big ceiling fans to keep the air moving. It can get quite hot in the afternoons. We mostly help kids from the nearby houses with their studies. It’s a very neighborhood-oriented business. You won't find any slick marketing materials here. We just have some notebooks and pens and a few old chalkboards. Sometimes the local kids stop by just to say hello even if they don't have a class. It’s a friendly atmosphere and not at all formal. We try to keep the noise down because it’s a residential-feeling street but sometimes the kids get a bit excited. We just do our daily work and help out where we can. It’s a straightforward life here in Lake Town and we’re happy to be part of it. It is just a place for learning and nothing more.
