Eastern Cement Distributor

We are located on the third floor of a building on Strand Road, at Plot No-26/1/1A. It is a very busy part of the city, and getting up the stairs can be a bit of a chore if the lift is not working right that day. From our window, you can see all the traffic and people moving around down on the street. We mostly spend our time on the phone or looking at the ledgers, trying to figure out where the next load of cement needs to be sent. Since we are distributors, there is a lot of talking to truck drivers and people at the warehouses. We do not actually make any of the cement here in this office; we just make sure it gets from the factory to the people who bought it. It can get pretty hectic when there are multiple trucks waiting and the paperwork is not ready yet. We keep a small kettle in the corner for making tea, and we drink a lot of it throughout the day. The office is not very big, and there are files and papers stacked up in almost every corner. It is just how it is when you have been in the same spot for many years. People come in and out all day, some looking for work and others wanting to pay their bills. We try to stay organized, but sometimes it feels like we are just trying to keep up with the clock.
