We are located at 150 Bakul Bagan Road in the Bhawanipore area of Kolkata. This is an old part of the city with a lot of character, and our building at number 150 definitely fits that description. It has high ceilings and those thick walls that keep things a little cooler than the humid streets outside. Dutta & Associates has been operating from here for a good while, and we have grown quite fond of the local tea shops and the way the light hits the street in the late afternoon. The office is usually a bit cluttered with papers and books, as is the way with this kind of work. We aren't really the type to have a minimalist, modern office; we prefer having everything we need within arm's reach. Most of the people working here have been living in Bhawanipore for years, so we have a lot of roots in the community. Our daily routine is pretty standard—lots of meetings, plenty of phone calls, and the occasional break to talk about what is happening in the neighborhood. It is a quiet, professional atmosphere, but not in a stiff or unfriendly way. We just do our associates' work as best as we can and try to keep our clients happy without making a big fuss about things. It is a solid, reliable place to work on Bakul Bagan Road.
