Durga Traders

Durga Traders is situated on Maniktala Main Road, right at B/65/A/1. It is a very busy part of the city, so there is always some kind of noise or activity happening just outside our front door. We have been in this exact spot for a long time, dealing with whatever business comes our way each morning. The space inside is a bit cramped because we have to store almost everything indoors to keep it safe, but we have learned how to make it work over the years. It is definitely not the kind of place you would find with soft chairs or cooling fans. We mostly spend our time standing around or sitting on small wooden stools while we handle the daily paperwork and customers. Being right on the main road means there is a constant stream of traffic and shouting, but it also means people can find us without much trouble. We don't bother with any of that modern marketing or social media stuff. We just open the shutters in the morning and close them up once the day's work is finished. It’s a local operation, and it feels like a family because of how long we have all worked together in this room. We deal with various suppliers and customers from across the neighborhood all day long. Some days get a bit stressful when a delivery is running late, but we always find a way to manage. It's just a regular shop.
