Our office is tucked away at 46C Nivedita Sarani, right near the Behala Airport Road. It’s a busy part of Kolkata, and the noise from the traffic usually filters into our rooms all day long. We’ve been operating from here for a while now. It’s not a fancy place by any means. There are some old wooden desks and a couple of ceiling fans that creak a bit when they're on full speed. We are just a small group of people trying to do some social work for the community. Most of us live nearby, so we walk or take a rickshaw to get in. On rainy days, the road gets a bit muddy, but we still show up. We don't have a big marketing team or a corporate structure. It’s mostly just us handling whatever comes our way. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask for help with small things. We keep a pot of tea going most mornings. It feels more like a home than a business office. We don't use big words or make grand promises to anyone. We just take things one day at a time and try to be useful. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy on the desks, but we know where everything is. It’s just how we work. We aren't trying to impress anyone; we’re just here doing what we can in our own corner of West Bengal. We’ve been part of this street for years and we know the people here.
