Dishari Coaching Centre

Dishari Coaching Centre is located on Sobhabazar Street, not far from the Sani Mandir. This is one of the older parts of Kolkata, so the streets are narrow and always full of life. Our center is inside a building that has a lot of character, though it’s a bit worn out in places. We have a couple of rooms where we sit with the students. The walls have some old posters about science and history, and the floors are made of stone. We get a lot of noise from the street, especially during festivals or when there is a lot of traffic near the temple. But the students who come here are used to it and they just get on with their work. We don’t have a big staff. It’s just a few of us who manage the teaching and the day-to-day things. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a website. Most people just walk in to ask about the timings and the fees. We teach the regular school subjects and help with the homework. It’s a very grounded place. We don’t use any promotional talk. If you come by in the evening, you’ll see kids sitting around the tables with their heads down, busy with their books. We’ve been here for many years and we’ve seen a lot of local kids grow up and move on. It’s just a small, local coaching center in the heart of Sobhabazar.
