Dhruv Agarwal Foundation

Our office for the Dhruv Agarwal Foundation is right on Chittaranjan Avenue. If you know where Md Ali Park is, we are just right across from it at number 121. It’s a busy part of Kolkata, so there’s always noise from the street and people moving around outside. The building is old but it has a lot of character. We spend our days here dealing with the foundation's work, which usually means a lot of meetings and keeping track of various projects. It gets pretty crowded in the office during the middle of the day. We have files stacked up and phones ringing more often than not. Being in such a central location makes it easy for people to find us, though parking is always a nightmare. Most of us take the bus or the metro to get in. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and see us working. We try to keep things simple and honest. There’s no complicated hierarchy here; we all just pitch in where it’s needed. Sometimes we stay late when a project is wrapping up, and we’ll grab some food from the vendors nearby. It’s a very typical Kolkata workspace. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the foundation stays on track with its daily tasks.
