You can find Deys Institute Of Commerce & Technology at 30 F/G, Shanti Ghosh Street. We are located very close to the Shyambazar Metro Station and Manindra Chandra College, which makes it easy for students to get to us. The street itself is a bit narrow, as is common in this part of Kolkata. We’ve been operating here, focusing on commerce and some technical subjects for a while now. The space isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit in some computers and enough desks for everyone. It’s a very practical environment. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or big advertisements. Most of our students come from the nearby colleges or live in the surrounding lanes. We spend our days teaching accounts, math, and some basic computer applications. It’s a busy routine, especially in the afternoons when the college students finish their classes and head over here. Sometimes we stay open late to help someone who is struggling with a particular topic. The place has a very local feel to it. It’s not a corporate training center; it’s more of a neighborhood spot where people come to learn something useful. We have some old posters on the walls and a lot of registers stacked up on the shelves. It is just a normal, hardworking place where we try to do our bit without any extra fuss or ceremony.
