Devyani Coaching Center

You can find Devyani Coaching Center over on Garpar Road, right at number 42. We are situated quite close to the ICICI Bank ATM, so it’s easy for people to give directions to our place. The center is basically a few rooms in an older residential building. It feels more like a house than a school, which is how we like it. We have some basic wooden furniture that has been around for a long time. The floors are made of that old red oxide, and they stay cool in the summer heat. We usually start our day in the late afternoon when the kids finish their school and lunch. It’s a quiet street for the most part, except for the occasional rickshaw passing by. We don’t have any big signs or neon lights outside. Just a small board with the name on it. Inside, the rooms are filled with books and some notebooks that students have left behind. We spend most of our time going over math problems or grammar. There are no big screens or digital boards here. We still use chalk and talk. Sometimes the neighborhood kids just drop by to ask a quick question even if they don't have a class that day. It is a very informal environment. We know the names of almost all the parents who come to pick up their children. It’s just how things are in this part of town.
