Darsan Education

Darsan Education is found in Kazi Para, which is part of Barasat in Kolkata, 700124. We are quite close to Noapara, so it is a familiar landmark for anyone coming from that side. The office is really just a functional space where we handle the day-to-day teaching activities. It is not very big, but we have managed to fit in enough desks for the students who come by. Barasat is always bustling, and our street is no exception. You can hear the rickshaws and the local market sounds from the window. We started this because we saw a need in the local neighborhood for a place where kids could get some extra help. It isn’t about being a big institution; it’s more about being a part of the local community. We have some old posters on the walls and a whiteboard that has seen better days, but it gets the job done. Often, we stay late to finish up paperwork or plan for the next set of classes. The students know they can just drop in and find us here most afternoons. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the road work nearby, but we try to keep it as clean as we can. We just take things one day at a time here. Every Friday we spend some extra time organizing the library area for the next week.
