We are located on the 7th floor at No. 20 Coalberth Hoboken Road. It’s an interesting part of town near the docks, so there’s always a lot of heavy trucks and activity outside. Darjeeling Organic Tea Estates Pvt. Ltd. has its main office here. Being on the 7th floor gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding area, though it’s mostly industrial. The elevator is a bit slow sometimes, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work. We spend our time managing the tea estates and handling all the paperwork that comes with it. It’s not a fancy place, just a functional office with plenty of filing cabinets and a few desks. The air gets a bit salty from the river nearby. We’ve been here for a while and the staff knows the routine well. We usually have a pot of tea going, which makes sense given what we do. It’s a busy spot but we manage to keep things organized. People often ask why we are so far down Hoboken Road, but it’s where we’ve always been. We handle the distribution and the accounts from these rooms. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists. We don't have a showroom, so most people only come by if they have a scheduled meeting or a delivery to drop off. It is just a place where we get our work done every day without much fuss.
