You will find us at Premises No.1921, over in Block Ga on Rajdanga Main Road. It’s right in the Kasba area of Kolkata. Being on the East side of the main road means we see a lot of people passing by on their way to work. Dakua Cement Industries Private Limited is a small operation, really. We share the space with the sounds of the city and the occasional stray dog that finds a cool spot to sleep. The plot number 34 is where the main activity happens. It’s mostly just us and the inventory. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the cement gets moved correctly. The paperwork can be a headache sometimes, especially when things get busy in the afternoon. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by. If a machine breaks or we need supplies, we don't have to go far. The office is a bit cramped with all the files, but it works for us. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us by name. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide what’s needed and try to keep things moving along without too much trouble. We take breaks when we can and talk about the local football scores or the weather. It is just a normal day at the office.
