Out here in Prafulla Kanan, things move at their own pace. Our place, Cs Foundation, is tucked away in this part of Kolkata 700101. If you are looking for us, the best way is to find the Ghospara Kali Mandir first. It’s a major landmark and most rickshaw pullers know it. We are just a short walk from there. The air feels a bit different in this neighborhood, maybe because of all the old trees and the temple being so close. We aren’t a big operation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us sitting in the office, handling whatever comes our way. The floor is a bit uneven in places, and the paint is peeling a little near the window, but it doesn’t bother us much. We keep the door open when the weather is nice to let a bit of a breeze in. Sometimes you hear the temple bells ringing in the afternoon, which is quite nice actually. It’s a humble spot, nothing like those shiny offices you see in the IT parks. We’ve got our files, our computers, and a kettle that takes forever to boil. Cs Foundation is just a local fixture in Prafulla Kanan. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just people working near the Kali Mandir, trying to keep things organized and moving forward one day at a time. It's a bit dusty, but it works for us and keep us busy.
