Salt Lake is a well-known area in Kolkata, so it’s easy for people to find us. Our office is a practical space. We don't have any art on the walls or designer furniture. It’s just a place where we come to work. We do consulting, which basically means people tell us their problems and we try to find ways to solve them using technology. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of typing. We aren't a huge firm with thousands of employees. It’s just a small team of us here. We know each other's coffee orders and who likes to work in silence. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend the day. We don't have big corporate slogans. We just show up, do the hours, and try to do a good job. Some days are stressful when deadlines are close, but mostly it's just a steady pace. The neighborhood is okay, and there are some good places to get food nearby. We like being part of the local scene in Parganas North. It’s just a regular business doing regular things without any extra polish or pretense.
