Chowdhury Cement & Paints Traders is located at 1 M.B. Road in Belgharia. It’s a very busy spot right on the main road, so we get a lot of dust and noise from the passing trucks and buses all day long. We’ve been here for quite some time, dealing with cement bags and paint cans. The ground floor is mostly taken up by heavy stacks of cement, so there isn't much room to walk around once a fresh delivery arrives. We spend our time counting stock, loading up small tempos for local deliveries, and talking to contractors who stop by. Our clothes usually end up with a bit of white dust on them by the end of the day, but that’s just part of the job. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy board room. Usually, we're just sitting on some stools near the entrance, keeping an eye on the road and waiting for the next customer. The M.B. Road traffic can be a nightmare in the evenings, but it also means a lot of people see our shop every day. We’ve got a small office space tucked in the corner where we keep our ledgers and some old paint charts. It’s a bit cramped and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of the very paint we sell, but it works for us. We’re just local people providing building materials to the neighborhood.
