Calcom Cement India Ltd.

Calcom Cement India Ltd. has its office in Jidal Tower, which is at 21/1A/3 Durga Road. We are right in the Park Circus area, close to the Kolkata GPO. The tower is quite tall and has many different businesses inside it. Our office is a busy place, especially with all the phone calls coming in about orders. Dealing with cement in a city like Kolkata is always a bit of a challenge. We have to coordinate with trucks and various warehouses, and the traffic on Durga Road can be unpredictable most days. We don't have a very polished or corporate way of doing things here. Our desks are usually covered in delivery notes and logistics schedules. We are a group of people who have been in this industry for a long time. We don't use much marketing talk or fancy language. We just focus on getting the bags of cement to where they are supposed to go. Sometimes there are delays or problems with the loads, and we just have to sit down and figure it out together. It is a lot of paperwork and hard work. We like being in Park Circus because it is central and we can get to different parts of the city fairly easily. We aren't a big corporate machine that doesn't care about the small details. We are just trying to keep the supplies moving. It is a tough business, but it keeps us busy.
