Brilliant Coaching Centre

Our place is over at 60/A, Keshab Chandra Sen Street. If you know the Amherst Street area, you have probably walked right past us at some point. We are actually right across from Jadav Chandra Das Sweets Shop. It is a bit of a problem because the smell of fresh sweets is always drifting in through the windows. It is a good landmark for people trying to find us though. We run Brilliant Coaching Centre from this building. It is an old part of Kolkata with a lot of history and narrow, crowded streets. Inside, we have our desks and boards set up for the students. It is definitely not a corporate office. It feels more like a home that slowly turned into a school over the years. We spend our days going over math, science, and whatever else the kids need help with. We do not use any complicated systems or digital gadgets. We just sit down and get the work done with pens and paper. Sometimes the ceiling fans are a bit noisy in the heat of summer, but the students do not seem to mind much. We are not trying to be the biggest or most famous centre in the city. We just want to do right by the families who trust us here in the neighborhood. Most of our students live just a few blocks away. It is nice being part of the Amherst Street community. People stop by to chat sometimes about the weather or the local news.
