We operate out of a place called Aashirbad, located at 1/66B Bejoygarh in the Jadavpur area of Kolkata. It is a residential kind of neighborhood, so it doesn't feel like those big cold business districts you see in other parts of the city. The office is inside a building that has a lot of character, and we've settled in quite well over the years. We have a small team here, and because the space isn't huge, we all end up knowing what everyone else is working on. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of paperwork coming in, but we manage to stay organized. Most of us take the bus or a rickshaw to get here, and we usually start the morning with a quick chat about the news before settling into the day's tasks. There is always a lot of activity on the street outside, which gives the place a lot of energy. We handle the local side of things from this office, making sure everything is accounted for. We don't have a corporate cafeteria or anything like that, so we just bring our lunches or find something nearby. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't use much jargon or have long, pointless meetings. We just talk about what needs to be finished by five o'clock and then we do it. It’s a practical environment for people who just want to do their jobs well and go home.
