Our office is situated on Bibhuti Bhusan Sarani in the City Centre area of Durgapur. It is a busy part of town, which means there is always something going on outside our windows. Most of the staff here live nearby, so we don't have too long of a commute, which is nice when the traffic gets heavy. The office space itself is functional. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a small area where we keep the kettle for tea breaks. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics and the daily administrative stuff that keeps a place like this running. It’s not the kind of work that makes headlines, but it is important to us. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or a printer jams, but we just deal with it and move on to the next thing. We've got a small group here, and we all know each other's routines. If someone is running late, we usually know why. We don't spend much time worrying about how things look to outsiders; we just focus on the tasks at hand. Durgapur is a solid place to be based, and being in the City Centre makes it easy for people to find us if they really need to. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do every day. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need to accomplish.
