Birati Education Centre

Birati Education Centre is right in the Kamal Park area. We are very close to the Birati Ration Office, which is how most people find their way to us. Being in the 700051 zip code means we are right in the heart of the local neighborhood. It is a lively place to be. The space we have is simple and functional. We have some wooden chairs that have been around for years and a few long tables. It is not a fancy setup with glass walls or carpets. We just have what is needed to get the job done. Often, you can hear the sounds of the local market or people talking outside as they go about their shopping. We keep the windows open mostly to let the breeze in, though it brings in the noise too. I usually get here a little early to sweep the floor and make sure the lights are working. Sometimes the bulbs flicker, and I have to give them a little twist to stay on. It is just a regular part of the day. There are always students or parents dropping by to check on schedules or just to say hello. We don't do anything complicated here. We just provide a place for people to sit down and learn something new. It is a practical spot for the local community in Birati. We have been here a while and plan to stay for much longer.
