We are based in Siliguri, up in the Darjiling district of West Bengal. Our office is located in Kawa Khali, care of Ananda Das. Siliguri is a busy place, always full of people moving around, but Kawa Khali is where we stay grounded. Our office isn't much to look at, just a practical space with the things we need to get our work done. We have some desks, a couple of chairs, and stacks of paper from all the things we manage. The weather in Darjiling can be a bit unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time inside. People from the neighborhood know us and often pop in for a quick word. The Bipoder Bondhu Social Welfare Foundation is run by folks who live right here in the community. We don't have any big marketing teams or anything like that. It’s just us. We get our mail from the Sushruta Nagar post office and keep our files in order as best as we can. It’s a busy life, but it’s good to be working in Siliguri. Sometimes the traffic is a mess, but we manage. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks. It’s a simple setup, but it works for what we need. We're usually here from morning until the sun goes down.
