Bikas Enterprise

Bikas Enterprise is based out near Durga Chak, right by the Halide Chemical Lvt area. If you know the neighborhood, you know it’s mostly industrial and can be a bit dusty when the trucks go past. Our office is close to the plant, so we see a lot of the local workers coming and going all day. It’s not the most scenic place to be, but it’s where the work is, so we don't mind it. The building we are in is sturdy and keeps the noise out for the most part. Inside, we have a few desks and a shelf full of old ledgers and files that we haven't quite moved to the computer yet. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a while, and the people around Durga Chak know who we are. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors by sight and say hello when you’re out getting water or checking the mail. The summers are tough because it gets really hot in this part of town, so we have a couple of noisy coolers that help a bit. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and try to stay on top of the orders. There’s no big secret to how we run things; we just show up and work hard until the day is over. It is a simple life here for all of us.
