Bhowanipur Tutorial Home is tucked away at 33 A, M G Road, right in the Amherst Street area of Kolkata. Most people use Purobi Cinema as a landmark to find us since it's just a short walk from there. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. The building is an old one, typical for this part of the city, and the pin code 700009 is home to many such small setups. Inside, the rooms are pretty basic with wooden benches and old desks that have seen many students over the years. It isn’t a large place, but it serves our needs well enough. On summer afternoons, the fans hum loudly while the city noise from M G Road filters through the windows. We usually have classes running from morning until late evening. Sometimes the stairs get a bit dusty with so many feet coming and going. We don’t have any fancy signs or shiny offices. It is just a place where students come to sit down and study their subjects. The tea shop nearby is a popular spot for a quick break between lessons. Usually, we are busy sorting out schedules or cleaning up the chalk dust after a long day. It’s a very local, straightforward environment here. We have grown used to the rhythm of this neighborhood. Being near Amherst Street means there is always something happening outside, but we keep things quiet enough inside for work. It's just us doing our bit.
