Bharat Hitech (Cements) Pvt. Ltd. is situated on G.C Avenue. We are up on the 4th floor of Gandhi House, at number 16. Being in an office building like this means we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevator. It’s a busy area and there is always something going on downstairs. Our office isn't very big, but it has enough room for our desks and the files we need for the cement business. We spend most of our time on the phone or working on the computer. It’s not the most exciting environment, but it gets the job done. The windows look out over the street, so we can see the traffic and people walking by. We’ve been in Gandhi House for a while now. Some of the other offices on our floor have changed over the years, but we are still here. It’s a solid old building. Sometimes the pipes make noise, but we don’t mind. We are just a group of people working together. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just handle the business of cement and try to keep things organized. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of paperwork, but we manage. We’re usually in by nine and out by six. It’s just a regular office life for us here in the city.
