Bebudar Coaching

People in Madhyamgram mostly just call me Bebuda, which is how the name Bebudar Coaching came about. I started this in my own neighborhood because I saw so many kids struggling with their daily lessons. It’s a very local thing. We operate out of a small building that’s easy to reach for anyone living around here. The rooms are filled with chairs we’ve collected over time, and they don't all match, but they work fine. We don't use any fancy technology here. It's just me, a chalkboard, and the students with their textbooks. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We talk about the lessons, but we also talk about what’s happening in the area or how the local cricket match went. I think kids learn better when they don’t feel like they’re in a strict environment. Sometimes the rain hits the tin roof so hard we have to shout a little to be heard, but we just laugh it off. We have batches throughout the day, so there’s always someone coming or going. It’s a busy life, but it’s good to be helpful to the families I’ve known for years. We aren't trying to be a big institution. We’re just a local coaching center where everyone knows your name and we take things one page at a time.
