Banglarmukh Social Association

Our place is located at 2/74A in the Gandhi Colony area. We are on the ground floor, flat number one. It’s a pretty standard building, nothing too flashy about it. If you’re walking through Gandhi Colony, you’ll find us easily enough. We call ourselves the Banglarmukh Social Association. We’ve spent a lot of time in this specific flat, getting things organized and talking to the people who live around here. Gandhi Colony has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of that. Being on the ground floor is handy because people can just walk right in without having to deal with stairs or elevators. It gets a bit noisy sometimes with the street traffic, but we don't mind much. We have a few rooms where we keep our stuff and meet up. There are plenty of other houses nearby, so it feels like a real community spot. We’ve set up some tables and a couple of computers to help with the work for Banglarmukh Social Association. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit of fresh air when it’s not too hot. We are just regular people running this association from a ground-floor flat. It’s a bit cramped when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work somehow. Most of the neighbors know who we are by now. We try to keep things quiet and respectful since it’s a residential colony where people have their own families and lives to live.
