Avishi Trident Owners Association

The Avishi Trident Owners Association is based in the Cic Building at 33A Chowringhee Road. We are up on the 4th floor. This part of Kolkata is always moving and there is so much going on around us. We are basically a group of people who own property in the building and decided to take charge of making things work. It is not a professional management company, just us doing our best. We spend our time talking about the water supply, the garbage collection, and making sure the security guards are doing their shifts. It is very practical and sometimes a bit boring, but it has to be done for the building to stay nice. Our office is just a room with a few tables and files. We don't have a lot of money to spend on fancy things, so we focus on the essentials. Residents come up to the 4th floor when they have a problem or if they want to pay their fees. Sometimes we have long meetings that don't go anywhere, but that’s just how it is with a group of neighbors. We try to be fair and listen to what everyone has to say. It is hard work to keep everyone happy, but we do what we can. We are just regular people looking after our homes and trying to keep the building in good shape for everyone living there.
