Ark Tutorials

Ark Tutorials is tucked away at No 4, Khalisa Kota Pally, right in the Rajbari Colony area of Kolkata 700081. If you know the neighborhood, it's pretty easy to find, but for others, it might take a minute the first time. The building is a regular sort of place, nothing too flashy. We have a few rooms where everything happens. There’s always a bit of dust because of the construction nearby, so we are constantly wiping down the tables. We’ve got some old wooden chairs that have been with us since the start. They creak a little but they’re solid enough. The light in the hallway is a bit dim, but once you get into the main area where the tutorials happen, it’s bright enough to see what you’re doing. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things run. Most days are spent sitting at the big table in the middle, going over notes or waiting for the next group to arrive. It gets quiet in the mid-morning, then picks up later in the day. We keep a kettle in the back for tea when things get slow. The street outside stays busy with people going to the market. It’s a decent place to work, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint sometime soon. We just focus on the daily stuff that needs to get done.
