Animo Foundation

Our office is in the Baguihati area, specifically inside Dhirendra Apartment. We’re in unit I/I-8 in the Pubali section. It’s a regular apartment, so you won’t see any big corporate signs or a receptionist when you walk in. We like working from here because it’s right in the middle of a busy neighborhood where everything is happening. Baguihati is a loud and energetic place, and being in an apartment keeps us connected to the local life. We aren't a big foundation with a lot of money to spend on fancy things. Our desks are old, and we do most of our work on a couple of laptops. We don't have a marketing strategy or a social media manager. Most of the people we work with are just folks from the building or the surrounding streets who know what we do. We don't have a mission statement or any corporate slogans. We just try to be useful and handle whatever tasks come our way each day. Sometimes the elevators in Dhirendra Apartment are slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It’s just part of life here. We’re not trying to be the most famous foundation in the world. We just want to do our work quietly and honestly in the Pubali area. If someone needs to find us, they usually just ask the security guard at the gate. We’ve been here for a bit now and we like the community feel of the place. It keeps us grounded in reality.
