Animacy Social Foundation

Animacy Social Foundation is over at 286 Sarat Bose Road in the Dum Dum Cantt area. We have been here for a while now. It is a busy spot in Kolkata, zip code 700065. We just try to help out when we can. Mostly it is just neighbors helping neighbors. Nothing fancy here at all. Sometimes we have a lot of work to do and other times it is a bit quiet. The building is pretty easy to find if you know this part of town. We spend most of our days talking to people who come by or just figuring out what needs doing next. It is not a big operation with lots of staff. Just a few of us here. We share the space and keep things moving. Kolkata is a huge city but here in our corner it feels a bit smaller. We like it that way. Most people stop by just to say hello or ask a simple question. We do not have a big front desk or a receptionist. Just some desks and some old chairs. If you walk down Sarat Bose Road you will see us there. It has been our home base for quite a bit. We do not spend money on ads or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find out about our social work. It is enough for us. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever comes through the door.
