Ananta Interiors

We’ve been running Ananta Interiors from our spot on the second floor over at CIT Road for a while now. It’s right there at P250B Scheme 6M, just next to the IDBI Bank branch. If you know the area, it's pretty easy to find once you get to that part of Kolkata. We mostly deal with making houses look better, handling the stuff that goes inside like furniture and cupboards. It’s just a small team of us working here daily. The traffic on CIT Road can get a bit much during the evenings, but we’re usually around till late getting things finished up. We don’t do big fancy advertisements or anything like that. Most people just walk in or hear about us from someone else who lives nearby. Sometimes we’re busy with a lot of wood or fabric samples scattered all over the floor, so the office looks a bit messy. But that’s just how work is for us. We try to get things done right the first time so people don't have to come back with complaints. It’s a lot of manual work and checking on measurements. Living and working in Kolkata means you deal with the heat and the rain, but we keep the shop open regardless. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years from our window. It’s a decent place to be based, especially being so close to the bank. We just focus on the job at hand and keep things simple.
