Zen Concepts & Interiors (P)Ltd. is right on Raghunathpur Road. If you know the Rc 22/1 area, you’ve probably passed by us. The road gets quite busy with trucks and cars, so there's always a bit of noise in the background. We have our office here where we plan out interior stuff. It’s not a "zen" place in the way people think—it's actually pretty busy and sometimes a bit chaotic with all the samples we have lying around. We handle a lot of different projects around Kolkata 700 059. Our team is small, and we spend most of our day on the phone with contractors or looking at wood finishes. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk covered in papers. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves. The building is older, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just part of living here. We don't do big speeches about our work. We just show up, do the drawings, and make sure the workers know what to do. It’s a lot of back and forth, checking on things and making sure the client is okay with the progress. It’s just a normal business on a normal road. We keep a stash of biscuits for when meetings run long. The rain hits the windows hard in July, but the roof doesn’t leak.
