Anandadhara Micro Service Foundation

Out here in Raipur, things move a lot slower than in the city. We are based at Dayal Das’s place in the village. It is a simple setup for the Anandadhara Micro Service Foundation. Most of the time we are out and about in the village or over by the post office in Uttar Dinajpur. It’s not like we have a big office building with a sign. It’s more of a local effort where everyone knows where to find us if they need to. The roads get pretty muddy during the monsoon, so we end up doing a lot of walking. We handle a lot of small tasks that help people get by. It is honest work, and we don't have any fancy equipment. Just some notebooks and a couple of old chairs. We talk to the neighbors and try to sort out whatever problems come up. It’s a lot of listening, really. You won't find us on any big maps, but if you ask for Dayal, someone will point you the right way. We started this because there wasn't much else around here to help with these things. We don't have a big budget, so we just make do with what we have. Every day is different, depending on who walks through the door or what the village needs that morning. It’s just our way of staying busy and being useful to the folks living nearby. We like it this way.
