Amrit Udyog

You’ll find Amrit Udyog up on the 9th floor of Sarvamangala House. That’s at 5, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sarani, which most people still call Clive Road. It’s an old building with a lot of character, and the lift can be a bit slow some days. Working on the 9th floor gives us a bit of a view, though we’re usually too busy to look out the window much. The office is full of stacks of paper and the sound of phones ringing. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a while. It’s a central location, so it’s easy for folks to drop by, even if the traffic on Clive Road is a nightmare during rush hour. We deal with various industrial things. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure shipments are on time. We don’t have a fancy reception area with flowers. It’s a working office. Most of us have been here for years, so we know the routine. We just get on with it. There’s no big secret to how we work; we just show up and handle the tasks as they come in. Sometimes the fans are loud, and it gets hot in the afternoons, but we’re used to it. It’s just a regular place where people work hard and try to get things right. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. We just do the job.
