Our place is in Gillander House on Netaji Subhas Road. It is one of those older buildings with high ceilings and heavy doors that have seen better days. Being in the B-3/2 section means we are a bit tucked away, which is fine because the street outside is always crowded with people and cars. We handle a lot of different types of equipment and sometimes the boxes pile up in the hallways before we can get them sent out. The staff here is a mix of people who have been around since the beginning and some younger ones who are still learning the ropes. We don't really go for anything corporate or flashy. The desks are older wood and the chairs are just okay, but they do the job. We spend our days answering emails, checking inventory, and making sure the instruments we deal with are in good shape. It gets loud in the afternoons when everyone is on the phone at the same time. There is a rhythm to it that you get used to after a while. We usually have our tea together in the mid-afternoon and talk about the news or whatever is happening in the city. It is a practical environment where the main goal is just to keep the business moving and handle the work that comes across our desks every morning. It might not look like much to an outsider but we keep things running well enough.
