Eastern Instruments

We are located on the third floor of the Mercantile Building over on Lal Bazar Street. It’s Block-C, specifically 9/A. If you’ve ever walked around this part of the city, you know how hectic it gets with all the shops and people moving about. The building itself has been around for a long time and has that old-school feel to it. Downstairs is always loud, but once you get up to the third floor, it settles down a bit. At Eastern Instruments, we mainly deal with different kinds of measuring tools and industrial gadgets. Our office is full of shelves and old wooden desks. It’s not the kind of place with bright lights and glass walls. It’s practical. We spend our mornings going through emails and checking what needs to be shipped out to the factories that buy from us. Sometimes the tea man comes around and we take a short break, but mostly we are just busy with the paperwork. Being in the heart of the business district means we see all sorts of people every day. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been in this building for years and people know where to find us. It’s a bit of a maze in Block-C if you aren't used to it, but we like it here. It’s got character and we’re close to everything we need to keep the business running.
