Agya Ventures Private Limited. Shakespeare Sarani is always busy. Number 12 is where we sit. It’s right in the middle of everything. Sometimes the noise from the street comes right through the windows, but you get used to it after a while. Most days we are just here working through whatever comes our way. It’s not a fancy glass tower or anything like that, just a regular place where things get done. We’ve been at this spot for a bit now. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up when the afternoon slump hits. Kolkata weather can be a bit much, especially in the summers when the humidity just sits on you, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. There are a lot of offices around here, so lunch break is always a crowd. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the day-to-day tasks. It's a lot of paperwork and phone calls, typical office stuff really. Some of the desks are a bit cluttered with files and old notebooks. We don't really have a big reception area or anything. You just walk in and someone will probably look up from their screen. It’s a quiet enough team, mostly just trying to get home before the evening traffic gets really bad. Shakespeare Sarani is beautiful when it rains, even if the puddles make walking a bit of a challenge. That's basically our daily life here.
