Adya Maa Coaching

We set up Adya Maa Coaching right near the 43/1 bus stop on Kumud Ghoshal Road. It is a convenient spot because the students can just hop off the bus and walk over in two minutes. The building is at number 15. It is not a large place, just a few rooms where we hold our classes every day. I have lived in this part of Kolkata for a long time, so I know most of the families who live on K G Road. We do not have fancy furniture or air conditioning in every room. Usually, the ceiling fans are spinning fast to keep everyone comfortable while they study. It gets a bit hectic when classes are switching over in the afternoon. You can see students waiting out front or talking by the gate. I handle the scheduling and a bit of the teaching myself. We started this because there were not many options for extra help in this specific part of the 700057 zip code. Most of the time, I am sitting at the small wooden desk near the entrance. It gets a bit dusty because of the road traffic, but we clean it every morning before anyone arrives. We do not do much advertising at all. Parents usually just tell each other about us when they are at the market. I like seeing the kids improve over the months. It makes the long hours feel like they are worth it.
