Our spot is at 25/A Dr Rajendra Road in Kolkata. If you’ve ever walked down this road, you know it’s got that old-school Kolkata feel to it. The building is older, and our office inside Adware Communications is pretty much what you’d expect from a local business. We have a few rooms filled with computers and a lot of tangled cables under the desks. It isn't the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time working on communication projects for various clients. The traffic outside can be quite loud, especially in the evenings, but you get used to the honking after a few weeks. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee, though it tastes pretty bad most of the time. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or posters about being leaders in the industry. We are just a team of people who show up, do the work, and go home to our families. Some of us have been here for years, while others are newer, but we all just get along and keep the wheels turning. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. If you drop by, you’ll probably see us arguing about where to order lunch from rather than talking about corporate strategy. That is basically how we spend our days here, just working and living and getting through the pile of emails.
