Save Animation

We are over at Np-36 Salt Lake City. Save Animation is where we spend our time drawing and working on computers. Salt Lake is a bit quieter than the main city center, which is nice when you need to focus on creative work. Our space is full of screens and tablets and a lot of tangled cables. It is not the most organized looking office, but we know where everything is. We do various types of animation and digital work. It involves sitting for a long time and staring at frames until they look right. We are not a big Hollywood studio. We are just a small bunch of artists and technical people trying to make things move on a screen. Sometimes the computers act up or the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out and start again. We do not use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just show them what we are working on. It is a lot of trial and error. Some days we get a lot done, and other days we just move a character’s arm back and forth for hours. We like it here because it is peaceful enough to get the work done. We do not have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep making things and stay at this spot in Salt Lake City.
