Unique Advertising

Over on Craig Street in Kamarhati, that’s where you’ll find our little office. We are at number 23. It’s a tight space, crammed with papers and samples from old jobs we did months ago. Unique Advertising has been around this part of North 24 Parganas for a while. We aren't some big agency with guys in suits. It’s mostly just us working on layouts and trying to get things printed right. The street outside is always noisy, so we usually keep the door shut. There’s a lot of talk about digital stuff these days, but we still do plenty of the old-school physical things too. Sometimes the printer acts up and we have to spend an hour messing with it. That’s just part of the job. We get people coming in with all sorts of ideas, some of them make sense and some don't, but we try to help them out regardless. The light in the office isn't the best in the late afternoon. We usually have tea around four and talk about what else needs to be finished before dark. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy. People know us in the neighborhood as the place to go when they need something made for their own small shops. We just keep plugging away at it, one sign or one flyer at a time. It’s what we know how to do and we enjoy the work.
