Across India Foundation

Across India Foundation is right on Arabinda Sarani, specifically at 8/2/741B in Kamalapur East. We’re quite close to Dumdum Cantonment here in Kolkata. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s always moving. There’s a lot of energy around the station. Our space is pretty basic, just a spot where we can get together and handle the foundation’s business. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or designer furniture. It’s mostly just old desks and plenty of notebooks. The noise from the street comes in sometimes, but you get used to it after a while. It actually feels good to be right in the middle of everything. We spend a lot of time just planning things out and making sure everything is in order. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. People around here know us as the folks in the office near the cantonment. We try to be helpful whenever we can, without making a big fuss about it. The address is a bit long to write out, but it’s easy enough to find once you’re in Kamalapur East. We’re just a small group of people working out of a practical space. Nothing more, nothing less. We like it here because it feels real and connected to the city. We just keep our heads down and get through the paperwork and meetings that keep the foundation going each week.
