Acc Ltd.

Being on the 5th floor of Shrachi Tower at 686 Anandpur, things feel a bit different than a factory floor. This is Acc Ltd, but it’s more of an office vibe here in Kasba. From the windows, you can see the Em Bypass and all the cars rushing toward South Kolkata. It gets really busy during the evening rush hour. The building has a lot of other companies, so the elevators are always full of people in a hurry. Inside our space, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and files. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It isn't very quiet though, because you can hear the hum of the air conditioners and the muffled sounds of the city outside. The staff here mostly take the bus or use the local trains to get to work. We don’t have any grand decorations in the lobby, just the usual stuff you’d find in any working office. Sometimes we order tea from the small shops downstairs instead of using the machine. It feels like a very standard place to work in a big city like Kolkata. We keep our heads down and handle the admin and planning side of things. It can be a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. It’s a practical spot for us to be located, even if the traffic nearby is a headache most days.
