You can find Acc Concrete Ltd. down in Vill Nangi Chalk, over in the Chandul area near Bata Nagar. We are in the South 24 Parganas district. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren’t from around this way. Our yard is right in the middle of things. We have been here for a good bit of time now. Working with concrete in this part of West Bengal means you have to deal with a lot of humidity. It makes the air heavy and the work feels a bit tougher some days. We don't have a big polished office or a marketing team. Most of the guys here are from the nearby villages. We know each other well, which helps when things get stressful. The trucks come and go from the P.O. Bata Nagar side mostly. We spend our days mixing cement and making sure the proportions are right for the local builders. It is a lot of heavy lifting and getting your hands dirty. We don't use any fancy talk about what we do. We just make concrete and sell it. Sometimes the roads around Nangi Chalk get bad after a storm, so we have to adjust our delivery times. We just call the customer and let them know. It is a straightforward way to run things. No one here is trying to be a big boss. We just want to get the day's work done and head home when we are finished.
