A. & S. Tech

At A. & S. Tech, we operate out of Basunagar in the Madhyamgram area. Our place is situated near the Durga Mandap, which is where everyone gathers for festivals, so it’s a very easy spot for locals to recognize. We’ve been here for several years now, focusing on various technical jobs and repairs. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we get a lot of neighbors dropping by with their gadgets or asking us to look at something that isn't working right. We don't have a big storefront with neon signs. It’s just a simple room where we keep our tools and parts. Most days you’ll find one or two of us tinkering with a machine or talking to a customer about a fix. We don't believe in using big words or trying to sound more important than we are. We're just technicians who know our way around electronics and systems. During the puja season, it gets very busy and loud around here because of the mandap, but we enjoy the festive spirit. It’s a nice community to be a part of. We usually open up in the morning and stay until the work for the day is finished. We don't have a formal mission statement or anything like that. We just try to be fair with our prices and do the work correctly the first time. It’s a small, local operation, and we like keeping it that way because we get to know everyone who comes in.
