3 Virago'S Design Llp is tucked away at F/J - 29/5 in Swamji Pally. This is in the Jyangra area of Kolkata, which has a bit of a village feel even though it’s part of the city now. Our office is in a residential-looking building, so it’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for the number. Inside, it’s a mix of design tools and ordinary office furniture. We have some large tables for laying out our work and a couple of computers that are always running. Because it’s Swamji Pally, it’s relatively quiet compared to the main roads. You might hear some kids playing outside while we’re trying to finish a design. It’s not a polished studio with white walls and designer chairs. It’s more of a workspace where we aren't afraid to make a mess while we’re working on things. We’ve got stacks of paper and pens everywhere. Most of us live nearby, so we’re very much part of the local community here in 700059. We take our time with our work and don't really follow a strict corporate clock. If something needs to get done, we stay until it’s finished. It’s a simple, honest way to run a design business, and being in Jyangra keeps us away from the unnecessary rush of the downtown areas. It’s just how we prefer to work every day.
