Vhj Developers And Builders Private Limited is located in Gadhinglaj, which is in the Kolhapur district. Our office is on Uprate Galli, near Rote Galli. It’s a local place and everyone around here pretty much knows each other. The business is run by the Joshi family. We aren't a big city corporation with lots of layers. It is mostly just us handling the day-to-day work of developing and building houses or shops around here. The office is in an old part of town and it’s quite simple. We spend a lot of time talking to people from the neighborhood who want to build something. It’s a lot of face-to-face work. We don't really do much online or with big advertisements. Most people just walk in or call us because they heard about us from someone else. Construction in a place like Gadhinglaj has its own pace. Sometimes things move fast and other times we are waiting for materials to come in from the bigger cities. We just keep at it. The office is usually filled with the sound of the street outside. We keep our records in big ledgers and some on the computer too. It’s a mix of the old way of doing things and the new. We take pride in just getting the walls up and making sure the roof doesn't leak. It’s basic, honest work that we have been doing for years now. That is just how we like it.
