Soilroots Agro Private Limited is situated in the village of Madhyal, in the Kagal area near Kolhapur. Our address is at the house of Gulabrav Khanderav Ghorpade, House Number 398. It is a very traditional setup, very much rooted in the local community of Madhyal. This part of Maharashtra is known for its rich soil and the hard work of its farmers. We aren't a big company with a lot of layers. If you want to talk to us, you just come to the house. We spend a lot of time in the fields and then come back to the house to handle the administrative side of things. The office is just a simple space with a desk and some chairs. We deal with the realities of farming every day—the bugs, the rain, the heat, and the market prices that seem to change every hour. It’s a busy life, but it’s a good one. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just rely on the quality of what we produce and the relationships we have with our neighbors. Kagal is a place where people still value a handshake and a person’s word. We try to live up to that. It’s a humble business, started right here in the village, and we plan to keep it that way. We just take things one day at a time and do our best with what the land provides.
