Savita Agro

Our place is out in the Industrial Estate in Ichalkaranji. We are at Plot 108, specifically Building 175. It’s right across from Samajvadi Prabodhini, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. Kapadmarket is always moving, with trucks and workers everywhere, so it’s a lively spot for Savita Agro to be based. We deal with a lot of agricultural stuff, so there’s often a bit of dust and a lot of heavy lifting involved. The building is solid and does the job. We have a few rooms for storage and a small area where we sit down to do the accounts and talk to suppliers. It’s not the quietest area, especially with the industrial noise nearby, but we’re used to it after all these years. Most of the guys here have been working in the Ichalkaranji area for most of their lives. We know the local farmers and the traders who come through the market. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the work is done face-to-face or over the phone. If you come by, you’ll likely see us loading or unloading something from the back of a truck. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We keep things simple and try to make sure everything is sorted by the time the market closes for the day. It’s a practical setup for a practical business. No frills, just getting the work done day after day. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
