If you walk into B-33 in the M.I.D.C. Industrial Estate in Shiroli, you will see a lot of smoke and hear the loud sound of the furnace running. That is where we spend all our time. Casting metal is a hot job, and there is no way to get around that fact. We have been in this same spot for a good while now, and most of the other shop owners around here have become our friends over the years. We do a mix of foundry work and some basic engineering on the side. Sometimes things do not go perfectly, and a mold might break, so we just have to start all over again. That is just how the foundry business works. We are not trying to be the biggest place in Shiroli, just a steady one that stays busy. Our crew knows the machines inside out because they use them every single day. We use a lot of sand and heat, so things get pretty dusty by noon. We mostly make parts for machines that other people use in their own factories. It is honest work. Our address has stayed the same for years, even though we have had to fix the roof a few times when it leaked during the heavy rains. It is not a quiet place to work, but we are all used to the noise by now. We usually have tea together in the afternoon.
